Having control over textile logistics is vital
Hospitals, healthcare companies or food businesses are examples of organizations that have large quantities of textiles and where staff need to have access to clothing at least once, but sometimes several times a day. The logistics in such large organizations is therefore not a simple matter. It’s a complex task to ensure that the right garments are in the right place, at the right time.
Not having an effective textile management system can also make it more difficult to maintain good hygiene. When textiles are not tracked, textiles can accidentally remain on their shelves for too long or be used longer than the applicable regulations for hygiene and work clothes.
For staff, it can also take a lot of unnecessary energy and time if work clothes are not available or are not in the right size. It also becomes difficult for administrative staff to know when to stock up or order more clothing, which in the worst case can lead to unnecessary costs.
