The challenge with solutions where garments are stored openly accessible in a room is that after a while, there’s a risk the inventory might have errors due to clothes being withdrawn without proper registration. The only way to correct it is to take manual inventory. Inventory can be both complicated and time-consuming, but with Texi Mobile Reader the process becomes both simple and fast.
Texi Mobile Reader is a hand-held scanner that, together with an app, is used to detect and count the tags that are sewn into garments. In the app, you select which stock you want to take inventory of and then simply swipe the scanner over the garments. The garments are counted automatically, and the information is displayed on a screen that provides direct feedback. Taking inventory of a room containing several thousand garments only takes a couple of minutes* and the results are then uploaded to the Texi Management System.
